Valentines day.
What is Valentines day ? everyone have their own definition and their own feeling and traditions for the day. To me it is just another day and no I am not like those people that hate and oppose the day, I see it as just another day because when you love someone anyone, it should be something you express every day. Not just one day out of the year. I think the problem is when people only wait till Feb. 14th to do and say special things. Those little special things should be said and done every day and then go out of your way do a little extra take it over the top for that special day or just keep doing what your doing what ever your choice. That being said happy Valentines day to all and if you don't have a significant other or family to spend it wilth take some time to love your self because it starts there you cannot fully love someone else with out first loving and valuing yourself. and for those of you that have a special someone remember it is the little meaningful things that count if you are truly appreciated the reaction will be worth the effort . . .

letting go
often times it is harder to let go of things that are bad for us or just not necessarily the best thing for us than it is to stay in a bad situation or with a person not good for us. I myself have plenty of times have faced this dilemma and i can definitely say i have not always mays the best choices. My question is at what point do we stop trying to make the situation work and decide to let it go . . . . .

Happy New Year ?
This was a note I copied from a great friend, its pretty deep so read and enjoy and happy new year . . . . . .
On Chinese New Year, it used to be that all unpaid debts were wiped away... that if they had not been paid by the New Year, you basically started over. Of course this was before credit cards...
But in a way, that's how New Year's is viewed, as a starting over point. That's the point of resolutions, isn't it? To convince yourself to make a large change in your life, usually for the better. But what's the point of giving yourself a big goal, when in the back of your mind you are thinking that you probably not going to accomplish it? What is wrong with setting a more attainable goal and then when reaching that, making a bigger one...? Isn't that what we, as people, should be doing? Constantly trying to make ourselves better? A friend of mine told me today, that his "mission is to live a fruitful life, one my kids can be proud of and can look up to".
And while I am hearing a lot of resolutions to make moves career wise, I am not hearing so many in the love/ family realm. I completely understand that careers and security is important (and they do help lead to a happy family life). But sometimes we get so caught up trying to make a future for ourselves we forget the one/ things that make us happy. Focus on the happy, and not the money. No one ever lays on their death bead wishing they had spent more time at the office, but there are plenty who wish they spent more time doing what they loved/ with their loved ones.
Although I personally never make a "resolution" (there's something about that word that screams "break me". I make Goals, missions... and they change constantly. In fact, I usually view Monday as a new starting point. Kinda like, well last week was shit, lets start over. I encourage you all to do the same. In fact, if you are having a shit day, start over the next day. Wipe your slate clean and approach each day like you do a New Year!
Happy New Year to you and yours!

something to think about . . . . .
I find it funny how so many people are so upset about the whole building a mosque near ground zero situation. And why ? because "they" are terrible people "they" are terrorists lol have any of you ever read researched or spent any time educating yourself on this religion ??? what if i said we should shun all black people because a few of the beat me up or robbed me ? this happens everyday and people say its wrong, what if i say white people are monsters because "they" are racists what if i said all latin people should be sent back to their countries because "they" come to the u.s. and commit crimes or all catholics are child molesting freaks, what would everyone say to that, if we are going to go by those standards the earth would have no one left. people are so quick to judge others because of the extremists that claim to be apart of a particular group, what religion or race are you ? think about the things people accuse you of because of some things a small portion or your brethren have done do we all now have the right to judge you and shun you from the world ??? think before you speak know what you are talking about before you open your mouth education is the key, remember you are here because someone decided not to judge you and punish you for the actions of your brothers and sisters. so that being said know what it is and who it is you are talking about before you open your mouth and let hatred and ignorance spew out against an entire people for the acts of a small few. thank yall for coming out god bless and goodnight !!!

Unusual suspects ?
Ok so I was just in the supermarket and I saw the sweetest looking little old granny stealing granola bars lol. She was walking down one of the isle trying to be inconspicuous took a box of the shelf looked around then stuffed it in her purse, how hilarious is that. Is this an isolated incident or are grannies all across the country or world pulling unsuspected Jack moves lol ......
